Huge shoutout to this ice cream shop, and especially to Eli at the register! Not only were the staff incredibly kind and welcoming, but they were also gracious enough to let me use the restroom when I really needed it. Eli’s warm attitude and outstanding customer service truly made my day. Great treats and even better people—I'll definitely be back!"

Got a vanilla iced latte. Looks and tastes like it's all milk and barely any espresso. Very disappointing and overpriced for a $7 medium drink.

Stopped by Castanea Sicilian Cafe at their Venice location and the setting alone is hard to beat. It's literally right on the boardwalk, making it an easy spot to grab a bite while spending the day by the beach. What impressed me most was the quality of the ingredients. You can tell right away that everything is made with care. My favorite item was easily the Prosciutto Crudo, Fig Jam & Burrata. The combination of prosciutto, melon, burrata, and fig jam came together really well and was the standout of the meal for me. We also tried the Salame & Hot Honey Cornetto Sandwich and Margherita Roman Pizza, both of which were really enjoyable. The Classico Cannolo was another highlight and a must-order if you have a sweet tooth. My daughter loved the gelato, and my wife was a big fan of the Matcha Strawberry Sorbet Latte. Overall, a great spot for a casual meal in Venice with quality ingredients, good food, and an unbeatable location right by the beach.

I come from Sicily and this was my first time visiting Los Angeles. I decided to start my trip with a visit to Venice Beach and noticed a small “Sicilian spot.” Having lived in other US cities, I was a bit skeptical at first. But the moment I walked in, I genuinely felt like I was back in Sicily. And trust me, that’s something extremely hard to recreate. Beautiful place, authentic atmosphere, and amazing Sicilian food. A small recommendation: try the sfogliatella. They are absolutely stunning!

Oh my! This little Italian cafe is so cute! They have a little bit of everything and it’s so good. From gelato to espresso to focaccia to pastries! Their carbonated La Dolce Vita drinks are also delicious. every time I come in here, I want everything they have to offer. The staff is super friendly and passionate about the store. Prices are just right.
